As a woman, practicing clinician, former Director of Functional Medicine at the University of California Irvine, and mom, I’ve seen all aspects of the healthcare system at work… and to be frank, it’s kind of a mess.
Confusing, overwhelming, exclusive, expensive… and on top of all that, it’s nearly impossible to sort out the health facts from fiction. With my unique mix of eastern traditional medicine and western science, I’m committed to getting to the root of your problem and putting a little pep in your step.
Because when you feel good, you see the world in a whole new way.
Once upon a time, I was in the exact position you are now… unwell and looking for someone to make me better. My doctors tried everything to address my symptoms. I was sent off to various medical specialists and prescribed endless painkillers and antibiotics, but nothing seemed to help.
Until I met my first naturopathic doctor.
We spent an hour and a half looking at the whole “me,” including my underlying physical, mental, and spiritual root causes. By the time I received my diagnosis, I had a much deeper understanding of my body and health, and a strong appreciation for holistic healthcare.
The ironic thing is, that whole experience happened while I was studying for my medical boards.
Find a cozy spot, I'm going to tell you a little story.
Long story short, my path quickly changed from conventional medicine to naturopathy.
17 years and thousands of patients later, my mission remains the same:
- Empower and educate women across the globe
- Provide resources and support to couples trying to conceive
- Optimize the mind, body, and soul before and after conception
- Make a lifelong impact through healing
Above all else, I live to nurture. I wholeheartedly believe that the foundation of our health starts prior to conception, and that the healthier people are, the more they can live a meaningful and soulful life.
